The Church exists to glorify God and fulfill His purpose through four key areas: Worship, Community, Discipleship, and Mission. Each of these reflects the divine relationship within the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and shapes how we live as God’s people. At Masihi.Church, we seek to be a Christ-centered community that embodies these core values in everything we do.
Worship is the foundation of the Christian life. It is more than just singing—it is a lifestyle of devotion and obedience to God. Jesus taught that true worship is in spirit and truth, centered on knowing and glorifying the Father (John 4:23-24). Whether through corporate gatherings, prayer, or daily surrender, worship acknowledges God’s holiness and lordship (Psalm 95:6).
The Church is not just a meeting place; it is a family. God created us to live in fellowship with one another, reflecting the unity of the Trinity. The early Church was devoted to community, breaking bread, praying together, and caring for one another (Acts 2:42-47). As Christ’s followers, we are called to love and serve one another in humility (John 13:34-35).
Discipleship is about becoming more like Christ. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples, teaching them to obey His Word (Matthew 28:19-20). Growing in faith requires commitment to studying Scripture, prayer, and accountability within the Church (2 Timothy 3:16-17). As we walk in discipleship, we are transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Church is called to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all nations. Just as the Son was sent by the Father, we are sent to make Him known, bringing hope to a lost world (John 20:21). Mission is not only about evangelism but also about serving others, caring for the poor, and being a light in our communities (Romans 10:14-15).
These four focus areas define our purpose as a Church. As we worship, live in community, grow as disciples, and engage in mission, we reflect the love and glory of the Triune God. Let us walk together in faith, growing in Christ and fulfilling His calling!
