Elders and Pastors at Masihi.Church

At Masihi.Church, elders and pastors are entrusted with spiritual leadership, emphasising the responsibility of shepherding, teaching, and guiding the congregation in biblical truth. Their role is to be an example of Christlikeness, leading with humility, integrity, and wisdom. As Scripture outlines, the qualifications for elders include being above reproach, faithful in marriage, self-controlled, hospitable, able to teach, and not given to drunkenness or greed (1 Timothy 3:1-7). They must also have a good reputation with outsiders (Titus 1:5-9), and demonstrate a commitment to their families, reflecting their ability to manage both their homes and the church with diligence (1 Timothy 3:4-5). Elders are accountable to God and to the congregation, and they must lead in a manner that aligns with God’s Word and fosters spiritual growth.

Executive Team at Masihi.Church

The Executive Team at Masihi.Church ensures the practical aspects of church life are managed effectively, working under the direction of the elders to implement the church’s vision. While not elders themselves, members of the Executive Team must meet certain biblical standards of character, integrity, and faithfulness (1 Timothy 3:8-13). They are called to be servants, managing church operations with a focus on stewardship, service, and support for the elders and congregation. As 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 teaches, the diversity of gifts within the church works together for the common good, and the Executive Team plays a critical role in ensuring the church’s ministries are effectively supported and executed.
